General description: With the frame made of composite plastic material, iRobt ensures hardness and durability over time. iRobt is equipped with Vietnamese and English voice recognition technology combined with natural language processing techniques; noise processing and filtering technology in public places, helping the robot hear passengers' questions in environments with a lot of background noise. In addition, the robot is equipped with image processing technology to recognize QR codes to read information on the boarding pass, then provide information related to the flight, locate the location in the terminal area to guide passengers. Integrating many advanced and modern technologies, in research phase 1, iRobt can communicate via voice in Vietnamese and English to guide and provide information upon request of passengers based on pre-determined scenarios with input information from sources such as voice, selection on the robot's touch screen, the robot's boarding pass reader... In research phase 2, the robot can provide a tool to reflect the passenger's situation on the quality of airport services, move along a predetermined trajectory and guide passengers to selected locations. In research phase 3, CEE scientists can integrate the function of replacing the check-in kiosk into iRobt. Up to the time of the trial run at Da Nang airport, iRobt has been researched and developed by CEE with engine control algorithms and control of the moving journey on the plane; develop Vietnamese speech recognition software, natural language processing to communicate in Vietnamese with passengers.
